Grand Princess

Hello everyone,
We have a 14 day cruise in December on the Grand Princess. The last time we were on the Grand was in November 2009. At this time you could notice that the ship needs some work to be done.
Does anyone have any idea if any work was done on this ship?

Other than the balconies the rest of the ship is in fairly decent shape. We were on it in Feb & they're working on it almost every day doing something. It wouldn't deter me from booking another cruise on it before dry dock next year (and we did in Dec).
The one thing that was annoying is the constant chipping of paint over the balconies.- Not during the day but when we were docked. There was always paint chips lying all over & added to the stewards cleanup work.
