I would bring a bottle on board in spite of the rules, but if you feel obliged to follow the rules do you like port wine? The higher alcohol content of port wine prevents it from spoiling. So one bottle could easily last your whole cruise.

Don't remember if Princess has minibars with little bottles of alcohol & beer. I know on the Carnival Freedom our fridge was stocked daily with liquor, pop & beer. What ever we drank they would replenish, although you do pay for it.I found it came in VERY handy when you wanted a drink in your cabin.

Princess offers one complimentary mini-bar set up in their full suites; and also in the mini-suites for Elite level Captain's Circle members.

Bringing liquor onboard a Princess cruise is prohibited, yet usually on the first day Princess has a special that allows you to purchase liquor and it will be delivered to your stateroom. However, any time past that, liquor bought on board will be packaged and delivered on your last night aboard.

Usually Princess security (when boarding the ship), doesnt see liquor that is bought on the islands and brought aboard.

Good luck!

I usually get a big bottle of water from the store and a bottle of vodka. Drink the water, put the vokda in the water bottle, and voila, they never notice.
