Star Princess March 5th

Well, after much deliberation between Celebrity, NCL, and Princess, we have finally booked our trip! We are going on the Princess Star Princess leaving out of Ft Lauderdale on March 5th and going to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Montego Bay, and Princess Cay. I actually like the itinerary on the Celebrity Century better but it was a 9 day cruise and the 2 ladies in our party didnt want to leave their kids with the grandparents that long. So, we happily settled on this 7 day princess cruise.

We are 2 married couples in our early 40's who have traveled together before. We are great friends and have found travelling with friends to be fun. Being very gregarious people, we tend to meet lots and lots of new folks as well. I am very excited about this cruise and was wondering who else will be joining us.

We will also be on the Star Princess March 5th celebrating our 25th anniversaries. We are all English but 2 of us live in NJ now, we are 45 years old. First time we will have been away together but we've know each other before we were married.

Awesome. We are 2 married couples in our early 40's who live in Nashville. The other guy is actually from New Jersey but moved down here about 10 years ago. We are really excited about this cruise. We will definitely have to meet you guys for coctails in one of the ships bars!

You will find me in all of the bars!! When it gets a little closer to the cruise, we can make arrangements to meet you guys for a drink onboard!

Be prepared to have a long wait tendering in Cozumel. It took us 2 hours to get to Playa Mia on a ships tour & from the beach back to the ship was over 2 hours. The bus ride was a short one but the wait for tenders takes forever. We left the beach on the 3 PM bus, shopped for 10-15 minutes at the pier, got on line for the tender & didn't make it to our room until 5:30

Going on Star Princess in May on the Baltic cruise. Went on Celebrity to Alaska 3 yrs ago food was EXCELLENT, only hope that Princess is equpal.
Wonder if the quality of food depends on the cruise location? Went to Mexico in Oct on Roay Carb and it was HORRIBLE, the staff looked dirty and very unprofessional, and the food was below Home Town buffet....... Have a wonderful time and let us all know about the Princess Star
