Hi All - Will be traveling soon on the Grand Princess - I was wondering (for past cruisers) which deck is considered the best? I am on the Dolphin deck near the back near a stairwell? Just curious. We were on the Dolphin deck midship but upgraded to a mini suite. Thanks in advance

Hi Rosie. I'm sure you will be satisfied with a mini-suite. That sounds exciting. I'm not really sure what deck you would say is the best - anything below Aloha is open to those above you. So, when you are sitting out on your deck, everyone that's above you will be able to see you. Some people really didn't care for this but I don't think it seemed to bother other people...you'll see all sorts of things! But, anyway, I'm sure you will be pleased with your mini-suite.

Good afternoon,

It's great that you'll have a mini-suite. Lucky you!

We had a balcony room on the Aloha deck last year. It was almost private (our neighbor would sometimes look around the partition to say "hi"). On our most recent cruise (Golden 2/7/04) we had a balcony on the Caribe deck. People could look down on us -- and we could look down on others -- but we didn't notice anyone spying on us. Most people were too busy enjoying the gorgeous scenery to spend any time watching a middle-aged couple (us) just sitting on their deck!

I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing time on your cruise. Be sure to write a review -- I love reading them all.
