Hi all...I am sailing Crown Princess Ft Lauderdale Rome on May 01st, 14 days. I have cruised the Med, the Caribbean, Mexican Riviera and Alaska, but never Transatlantic. Anyone have any tips/tricks etc. Thanks.
We want to do a transatlantic on Cunard. Seems a perfect cruise for total relaxation. We will be in Ft. Lauderdale May 8th for an eight day cruise. Let us know how things go.
Have fun,
Mark

Done it three times. Only thing to watch - the time goes ahead one hour every night for several days in a row. Best thing to keep your internal clock running - get up at the same time every day. Otherwise by the time you hit the other side you will be getting up at noon and feel like it is still 6 in the morning.
You can find lots to do - lots of activities scheduled or sit by the pool or find a quiet place to read.
The first day out from Florida has always been the worst weatherwise - most of the crossing is warm, sunny and calm.
