Hawaiian Cruise

We're booked for a Hawaiian cruise in Dec leaving from Los Angeles & would like some feed back on the possibility of rough seas. Has anyone done this trip in Dec? What temperatures did you experience during the crossing?

We did not do it in Dec but we did it in April and it was very cold. No laying on deck. It was also very windy. For most of the trip over the decks were empty. Everyone inside. I would assume December would be worse.
