Has anyone been on the Crown Princes within this past year? If so, would you please give me your pros/cons of the ship, etc.

We are thinking of sailing to one of the islands of Tortola, and I understand this ship goes that way.

brneyes, Hello brown eyes. I thought you knew the drill. See the tabs above your post? Click find, type in the ship, port or name and you will find all you need to know!

ChefKen, yes I did know. I was "hoping" I would get some "response" from some people that are reading these forums NOW, if you get my drift on "their opinions."

Instead of posting in each forum and not tying it together in one, you're going to get very diverse feedback. Well, I'm not sure what kind of feedback you'll get since I know nothing about you to give info on. "I'm ____ years old traveling with ____ adults and _____ kiddos, no seniors... I'd like to compare a few ships hitting Tortola in the month of_____. The ships I've found are_____, _____ and _____."

It's hard to make recommendations not knowing a few things, one very important one being passenger ages. If you're 70+, you're going to get different advice than someone 20 something with small children.

Here's what I think about the ships you've put up posts on. All nice ships. If you're European, go with Costa. If you have minor children, think about Carnival or RCI. If you're senior, Holland or Cunard would be good choices. Princess, Celebrity and some others have a little broader appeal to multiple generations.

Hope this helps, Neil

Thanks Neil, yes, you are right. I should have thought the "writing" out a little better. The reason I posted at the different areas was, I didn't know if all the people who read the forums would be looking at "ALL" the different cruise line questions, especially, if they had just used ONE cruise line for cruising, and each cruise company (Carnival, Holland Amercan, RCCL, etc) are separated.

Hope you understand where I was coming from too.
