We are thinking about booking the Emerald Princess in March/08. It does not have adjoining cabins so our three teens will have to stay either beside us or across the hall. Does anyone know if it is possible for us to be able to get entry into their cabin as well as our own?

We are also booked on the Emerald for March 2008. My hubby and I booked the March 25 2008 cruise. We booked a balcony on the caribe. Everything I read about her is awesome. We are sooo excited. I cant wait to read the posts from those who cruise her as soon as possible.

Hello wilson; it is my understanding that there has to be at least one adult in each cabin--at least for booking purposes; how you divide up once onboard is up to you. Each of you will get one cruise (key) card so one of the teens will have to do without if you want a key to their cabin. Maybe they can issue an additional card--I have no experience with this.

Emerald Princess does have two "family suites" which consist of two interconnecting balcony cabins all the way forward on Dolphin deck, D105 and D106; you might look into them.
