Diamond Princess

I am taking a cruise from Anchorage (Whittier) to Vancouver aboard the Diamond Princess in July. I currently have balcony room A336. It is located under the Lido deck overhang. I'm wondering how the overhang will affect the views from the deck. I know that looking stright up will be obstructed, but in general how will the overhang affect my views. Should I try to move out from under the overhang? Also, will noise be an issue being just under the Lido deck?

Good day, no the overhang will not block your view and it's a great idea to have this overhang to protect you in case it rain. we were on the Diamond two years ago and these room are great. We had a room on the same deck and there was no noise to complain about. You may hear a little, but nothning to change rooms. We like this location as it's very close to the buffet!!! You made a good choice of a room.
