I am going on the Grand on April 15th for a 19-day Transatlantic cruise to Rome. This will be our first Princess cruise. I departed last September from Galveston and the year before from New Orleans and did not encounter any problems with Carnival. Both embarkation and disembarking went very smooth. It took us may be 30 minutes to get to our room (that's dropping off your bags, checking in etc. etc.)
We had pre-registered on-line.
