What is the best cruise for an engagement? preferably east coast, prefrerably from Florida.

I take this to mean you will be proposing on this cruise? Congratulations! The best cruise itinerary will be the one that you and your significant other will obviously enjoy. Do you envision proposing on the ship, on a beach, in one of the ports? And, as you posted this in the Princess forum, are you decided on Princess? (Good choice, BTW.)

Hi Bivens, welcome to Cruise-Chat. Congratulations on your engagement! Right now, Princess sails out of Ft. Lauderdale to the Caribbean in the late fall to early spring, then they transition to Alaska and Europe. They sail out of Barbados, too. The Caribbean Princess may be sailing the Caribbean a little longer than the other ships that will transition. As Lisa stated, give us a few more particulars, and we'll try our best to help.
