What Not to Bring

Experienced cruisers,

Other than a travel iron and hair dryer, what should I NOT bring on my cruise? I leave one month from today!!!!!!

One thing I've taken on every cruise and have never used is a CD Walkman and 24 very carefully selected CDs. I love music and think I can't do without my favorites--but I really can.

All the clothes you think you will need.

Trust me. After lots of cruises and fine tuning what to bring, we still lug along clothes that are never worn. Pack what you think you need, and then remove at least 20% of it.

if you're going to the Caribbean, I advise you to leave your parka, mittens, ski boots, and long underwear behind as well

Don't bring 20 pairs of shoes with matching purses. Bring 1 pair of dress shoes and 1 purse that matches all of your evening wear, I take black. Don't bring more than 3 bathing suits. Don't bring lots of t-shirts, you'll end up buying them in ports. Don't bring contraband, ie. alcohol, food, irons, etc. Bring a big smile, a camera with extra memory chips, a good appetite, and a great attitude. You'll have a wonderful time! Come on you have to get into the IPOD age...
I take one and use it some. Some times we use it to play tunes on the TV.

You got me there.... I did not know you were using a double edge, I thought you still used the straight edge.
