excursions? Book now or wait?

Is it better to book excursions prior to trip through the liner or wait till you get to the different ports? I want to Zip line but not in 50 degree weather and pouring down rain

It is better to book your excursions before you sail, especially something as popular as a zip lining. You don't have to book a ship excursion; you can do some research online and book directly with the operator. But I doubt if you could just walk off the ship and get a zip line excursion.

Hi mark4,

I have found that booking online ahead of time is great because your tickets are delivered right to your cabin the first day aboard.
I also found that it was easy if you change your mind and you want to turn your unwanted excursion tickets in at the excursion desk; in which case you receive a complete refund reflected on your ships account. Of course you are taking chances if you want to book something new and popular while onboard. There could be a waiting list!

You are taking a chance by waiting....but then again it depends on what you want to do...some of the excursions have unlimited openings, but the popular ones usually have a certain number of openings....I always book with the ship, it's a little more expensive, but I know they've reseached the vendor and the ship won't leave without you if something makes you late back to the ship...Happy Sailing...
