Old versus new Crown Princess

I went into the actual cruise reviews section of this website to read up on the Crown Princess and found that it was listed as a "former" Princess ship that went out of service in 2002.
So what I'm wondering is: did Princess launch a brand new ship and use the old name "Crown" and if so why hasn't anyone updated the reviews on it?

The "new" Crown Princess went into service in 2006. Some reasons why no updates are posted: 1. This site has undergone ownership changes and the review side of the house fell into disarray. 2. Nobody has submitted a review of the current Crown Princess, so we have nothing to update with.

The forum is separate from the cruise reviews section. Different servers and control. The forum staff cannot access the reviews section to update it. This is done by our owner, Internet Brands, Inc. They are in the process of updating the reviews website and we hope to roll that out soon, with a fresher look and a way for members to post reviews on their own. We will then update the information for all cruise lines to reflect the current ships.
