Questions on Buffet & Room Service

We are booked on the Dawn Princess, Riviera Deck, with a balcony. I was wondering if they would frown on us going down to the Horizon Buffet, loading up our plates, and bringing it up to the room so we could eat on the balcony? Especially at breakfast! Anyone ever do that?
If you ask for room service at breakfast can you get bacon/eggs, that type of stuff, or just coffee and donuts basically? Do they charge you if you ask for anything other than just the "continental breakfast?"

No problem at all taking meals to your cabin. Go for it!

Many people take food to there cabin.I loved the ship we were on and I bet you will love yours.

By all means take food to your cabin, we do it all the time. They even bus the dishes out for you.

Write whatever you want on your breakfast card. Occasionally they will omit an item they can't get but they try to get it for you. We've successfully had bacon and eggs, for example. We just add to the tip if we've asked them for something special. Remember on early port days they are going to be especially busy so have a heart and walk upstairs or order pastries and fruit those days. But for a nice relaxing sea day....enjoy
