Aloha Deck on Island Princess
Penny, I'm sure that you will know the answer! I'm wanting to book for the Panama Canal next year and I'm looking at the Deck Plans for the Island Princess, Aloha Deck, Cabins 501, 441, 449, etc. that jut out from the side of the ship. Will there be any difference in these balconies from the ones that run along the flat side of the ship or is it just part of the design?
Thanks so much. |
Hello travel bugs; I know you addressed your question to Penny but I'm sure she won't mind if I jump in here. The balcony cabins on the "hump" or "bump" are exactly the same as the other balcony cabins on Aloha Deck, with the exception of the four on the corners, which are mini-suites.

thanks so much for the advice...I'll feel good about booking one of them now. (only asked Penny cos her and I like Princess the best!)

Well, you, Penny and I all agree on that.

Actually, f-mattox has sailed more Princess ships than I. I'm trying hard to remedy that:) I was on the Aloha deck on the Sea Princess, it was a great location, midship. The Sea, Sun and Dawn don't have a bad cabin that I know of, though. So easy to get around.
Travel Bugs, I'm so happy to hear you're doing the Panama Canal. I had booked that itinerary, but had to cancel due to the economy. I'm hoping to do it one day soon, though! |
