If Lake Como is just half as beautiful as the photos I've seen of it, I most go. Sorry Princess, that's a place I would want to stay more than just a few hours.

Indeed, some places just need to stand alone as places to visit. Two places on my bucket list are Switzerland and the Palatinate area of Germany, which is where my family originated (apparently both sides).

My paternal grandmother was born in Heidelberg which sits in the Rhine Rift Valley. I had the pleasure of staying there while on a land tour to see the Passion Play in Oberammergau in 1990. Some of the most beautiful country I've seen.
