I think that will work out better, my heavens, it was a lot of food to consume and it did take HOURS to finish. I had to go on a few smoke breaks in between and dang near fell asleep.

Well, with all respect to Penny, I loved the three hour dinners in Sabatini's; having to choose only the entrée surely simplified things, and at that relaxed pace we never really wasted much. But time marches on and if a shorter dining experience is what the majority want, so be it.

Thanks for sharing Dave. I can truly say that 8 of us celebrated my brothers birthday last year in Sabatini's and we took up all that time and more. Our dinner was so much fun and we added lots of apps and many different wines with the meal. It couldn't have been a better place to enjoy our celebration and the waiters were so gracious and did such a wonderful job of serenading my brother with "HBD" and so much more. My hats off to Princess and for Sabatini's great atmosphere and delectable selection of food that made for a very memorable sailing and special birthday.

We just got home from the Emerald Princess & found that the regular dining room food was so good that going to Sabatini's would have only been a waste of money. Sure it might have been slightly better but the food & service in the regular AT dining room was more than OK, so why spend the extra money?
