Default Entertainment Information
On our past Princess cruises we've always received an email two weeks prior to departure letting us know who the cruise director is, etc. They've also included information about what some of the specific entertainment will be (i.e. movies, entertainers, and shows). We've always found this helpful since we can do a little research beforehand to see if the movies and comedians will be appropriate for our kids. Plus, the teenagers always looked forward to getting this information because it helped build the anticipation.

However, yesterday we received our two week prior to departure email and it didnít have any of the specific entertainment information in it. Does anyone know if this is something Princess has changed? Maybe thereís another location where I can find this information?

Itís not a big inconvenience, but I was surprised at how disappointed my kids were.

When I cruised on the Royal Princess last year I didn't receive anything like that in the e-mail.

Default Entertainment on the Princess
We were just on the Caribbean Princess last month. As on past trips, we received emails from Princess on a regular basis with the columns from the captain, cruise director, etc. I checked my emails and about two weeks before sailing, we got the email about entertainment.

It doesn't go into a tremendous amount of detail, though. For example, there was a comedian onboard that wasn't really suitable for kids, but the email didn't note that. You'll probably have to call the cruise line for that (or ask once you get onboard). - Musing About Cruising
