Been back for awhile now, just wanted ppl. to know that I took my mom on the 20 repositioning cruise on the pacific and have been only on 5 cruises and have to say this was my best cruise ever! Loved the small ship, food the great, staff couldn't of been more fun, the dance crew often inter-mingle with the guest, playing games, bingo etc.
Had the best time with the casino staff, casino was sooooooooo small but staff got to know you and was often found visiting with guest and greeting ppl by there name. If I could cruise only on small ships to get were I wanted to go, that is the way I would go! Can't say how much my mother enjoyed it, she never got lost! LOL

Thank you for the comments, wendy_woo2; glad you had a great cruise. You just confirmed what Penny3333 and I have been saying all along: small ships are the BEST!

Hi wendy_woo2, welcome home! I'm sure you'd much rather be on board than back at work. I love the small ships too, my favorite is the Sun class on Princess. It's big enough, but not the Mega ships they have now. We loved the Royal Princess, so easy to get around. When we had bad seas, it was like what cruising was meant to be. We rocked, rolled, and reeled, but didn't miss a beat! I still have a LOT of ships I want to try, but you can't beat the smaller ones. Which port was your favorite? How many glorious sea days did you have? Did you fly home or take one of the Queens home? I just got an email from Cunard this morning. 102 days New York to New York for $22K/pp for a balcony. If I ever hit the lottery, that's the first thing I'm booking! So glad to hear y'all had a great cruise!

I think my favorite port was Nicaragua, this was a port we weren't even suppose to go to, but since they cancel our mexican ports because of the flu we went there instead, we took a tour over to Antigua the old old city, and I fell in love with the ppl and the city!, Our longest day at sea was 5 days, but once again didn't mind it at all, we just went with the flow and decided the captain new best for us. LOL so we ended up have quite a few sea days, about 12 sea days I think, we flew back to minnesota from Seattle, all and all best cruise I have had so far

http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo.../icon_razz.gif wendy...this is me green with envy. I'm studying Nicaragua right now, I'm intrigued. It always amazes me some of the ports that are out there.

Penny I know it's against the rules to find cabin mates...but I'd go with you...if you won the lottery!
