My mother and I will arrive at Brisbane airport at 8am but are wondering what we can do with our luggage until we can board the ship at 2pm.It is worth travelling directly to the Port to leave our luggage then travel back for 2pm but I am unclear if there is a secure holding area there for cruise passengers before embarkation begins.

Hi oztravel, welcome to Cruise-Chat. You could go to the port and drop your luggage off. The porters place it in the luggage bins that they load onto the ship. However, they probably will not be through unloading the previous voyage that early. Princess offers a valet service, where they will pick your luggage up and deliver it to the ship and then back home. We haven't used this service, but it is available. Since I haven't sailed out of Brisbane before, I'm not certain of the travel time involved. It sounds like you will have time to go to the port and drop your luggage off and then go visit a bit, though. Hopefully, someone on the board has sailed from Brisband and can answer for sure. Best wishes for a fantastic cruise, and once again, welcome aboard!

Thank you for your help. Yes I`ve enquired and you are right, they accept luggage from 9am which is fantastic. i really didn`t think we could leave it as early as that. Cheers!!
