Does anyone have an update on the status of Princess Cays?? I have heard rumors that it suffered severe hurricane damage.
Was wondering what alternative is being offered.

At this time, Princess is substituting San Juan for their private island. Which of your countdown clocks represents the Princess Cay intinerary?

Thanks for your response.
The Star Princess for Nov. 28.
On line there has been no notification of this that is why I wondered.
We already go to San Juan early in the week. ???
Guess I find out soon enough.

Hmmm, since you are already going to San Juan, if Princess Cays is still not on the itinerary November28, you may just have another day at sea. As of the latest information I have, the Nov. 7 sailing of the Star has cancelled Grand Cayman and Princess Cays and will instead be stopping at Costa Maya. Of course that is their Western Caribbean itinerary and you will be on the Eastern route. If I get any further updates, I will post.

Have just spoken with friends that work on the Star. They are not calling on Princess Cays yet. Probably will resume after January.
Nassau has been substituted.

I'm leaving on Jan 8th (and I'm going posting crazy right now!), but I just checked my itinerary and they have substituted an evening stop in San Juan vs Princess Cays which is disappointing. I would have rather had Nassau or at least San Juan during the day. Ah well, the rest of the trip better be good, or this will be it for Princess.

I really thought any hurricane issues would bre resolved by now!

When I went we had a scheduled 4-12am call for San Juan & the Princess Cays day was replaced with an extra sea day(which was excellent for me). They are using Nassau alot in place of Princess Cays, however, some weeks there were too many ships in port.
These changes are due to the hurricaine damage that occurred, not from anything happening now.
