Island Princess Cabins, excursions

Hello - We're booked on Island Princess, leaving May 17th, Vancouver to Alaska. We're booked in cabins B231 and B416. Any information on ship, cabins or port excursions in Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway will be appreciated. We will disembark the ship in Whittier and then do a land tour up to Fairbanks. Thank you.

We went on that trip in Aug.'09 only we started in Fairbanks. It is a magnificent trip. Our favorite excursion was in Talkeetna... Devils Canyon Adventure! We did Salmon Bakes in Skagway and Juneau. My husband went on the Sport Fishing tour in Ketchican and had a great time. We regret not sending his catch home to eat later. We also did the whale watch tour and got to see many whales. The train rides were great and our tour guides were very informative and entertaining. Hope you have a great time like we did.

Trzgoa and AF, welcome to cruise-chat.

We took the Alaskan cruise/landtour in 2008. In Skagway we did the White Pass Railway, taking the train up and a bus back down. In Juneau we took a floatplane to Taku Glacier Lodge. It was a great excursion and we plan to do it again someday.

Alaska is so awesome. You'll love it!
