According to all the reports I have read, the Europeans have more disposable income than the Americans do at this point in time, and are spending more dollars per capita on cruising. This is great for the Europeans as more and more ships will be offering service, which will mean better prices. It's not so good for the Americans as this will mean less ships, less itineraries, and higher prices. Maybe 2012 will offer us some improvement in the economy.
