My wife and I are booked on the Grand in Sept. We enjoy walking/biking/hiking and would like to know what is available in Rotterdam, Brussels/Bruges and Lisbon. The excursions provided through the ship appear to be mostly coach and/or boat rides. (Some guided walking tours). Any advice? Also - how close is the port from the cities (walking distance?)? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Rowan, welcome to Cruise-Chat. Have you checked the Port Chat sections below? If you use your "Find" feature in the upper left hand corner, type in your ports, and enter, it will pull up all the posts made. You might find something of interest. Congratulations on your upcoming cruise, wish I could help, but have not had the privilege of visiting those ports. Best wishes, and once again, welcome aboard!

Hi Rowan; I haven't been to any of the ports you mention, but my wife and I have always enjoyed the walking tours wherever we have taken them. The coach tours are nice for less active people, but are often just a way of getting you from one buying oppertunity to the next.
