We are taking a Canada/New England cruise this fall on the Caribbean Princess that departs from the Brooklyn port. We are flying into Laguardia Airport and was wondering how much the cab fare will be and how long the ride will take? Does anyone know? Many thanks.

Here is some information on the pier. I would allow a good hour to be on the safe side since traffic can be heavy.

Cruise Fanatic, thanks for the information! I can now compare prices to a Princess transfer.

Joyceh,

Albeit, we did it with Norwegian Cruise lines from LGA to Brooklyn pier - cost of our transfer was $35 per person and very well worth it given the heavy traffic from Airport to Pier. Took approximately 1 hour and five minutes. I actually thought we would never arrive. So much traffic and that was at 10 30 am in morning. Cheers.

Take a cab. It is easier and cheaper. There are flat rates for the cab. You can have up to 4 passengers.

Those transfers are a pain and cost too much. You have to wait for the bus to get loaded and then for all of the luggage to be unloaded.
