Leaving on Diamond Princess 7/4 for NB Alaska cruise/tour from Vancouver. First-timer: I know about the no no for hard alcohol, but what about soda, wine, beer, and champagne. Any restrictions for reasonable amounts. Can they be in carryons for embark.

I've never heard of anybody being turned away no matter how much soda or water or beer they were carrying. I've also see people wheeling on a plastic milk box filled with wine bottles.

For all,

The policy of cruise-chat is to support the rules of the cruise lines. We do not allow topics about sneaking booze, or otherwise violating cruise line rules. Since a link to the official rules for Princess has been provided, we'll now close this thread before it veers into forbidden territory. It hasn't yet, but the ingredients are there.
