I wouldn't expect anything for 4-6 weeks.

You don't have to be a good speller. Ever heard of "spell-check"? Golly, there is even software that might help your atrocious grammar! Here's an idea: while you are "waiting", read a book.

Hey why the hostility? I think you need a bigger picture there, to fit your enormous head. Some people just think they are soooo special. Your just RUDE!! What I may lack in care in my posy, you lack manners. Take a cruise bighead.

Oh yes, nothing yet.
Mattox you worked for years for Princess, I am sure you were not as talented as the picture you post implies.

No, I was in no way implying I have even a fraction of the talent of the mighty Ludwig Van; I use his likeness simply because he's the greatest musician that ever drew breath. I, on the other hand, am but a lowly cabaret entertainer. But Princess thought I was good enough for them for five years.

Well I know it has only been 3 weeks, but nothing yet. We have traveled Princess several times. My husband said he would wait 4 weeks then call them. It is a shame they didn't care enough to contact us. My husband wrote a very polite concerning letter. maybe I should of wrote it! Still hoping for contact from them first.

I realize how upset you are with Princess in general, but identical situations have occurred on other cruise lines as well. Other than a reduction on your cruise fare & a letter of sympathy, I wouldn't be expecting much else. Friends of ours had the same thing happen on HAL a few years ago & hasn't cruised since. She had over 100 cruises in her life time & was also disgusted with how HAL had handled their situation. It can happen to any resort at any time but it does seem to be more concentrated aboard cruise ships. There hasn't been a cruise line who hasn't encountered the norovirus & according to the CDC "From 2002 to April, at least 101 cruises and 10,842 passengers had been hit by the virulent virus, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention." Staying at home & not traveling at all seem to be the only other option to minimizing your exposure.
I hope you get some satisfaction from Princess as compensation but don't expect much else from any other cruise line either.
