Could someone please explain why being an Australian qualifies us to being second class world citizens.
We pay the same money as our American or British counterparts, yet when it comes to Captains Circle membership we are excluded.
We have further to travel to join most cruises, it costs us a lot more in airfares to join those cruises, yet we are racially discriminated against because we are Australian.

Having logged more than 267 days at sea with Carnival (mainly Pricess & P&O) this would qualify for significant extras if I were American or British, as it is Australians are not rewarded for their dollar and patronage.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THE LEGALITIES OF THIS DISCRIMINATION

It may not be what you refer to as discrimination. It may very well have to do with taxation or other financial burdens your country imposes on CCL. Other than that, I have no idea why it would matter which country you are from.

I wasn't aware Australians were considered a separate race.

mattox-

I just assumed he was an Aborigine and therefore felt he was being racially discriminated against. It was the only way I could think that his comment would apply.
