My apologies...sometimes stupid stuff flies out before I can put a lid on it.

Now, first you catch a wascally wabbit....boil some water in a weally big kettle, put the wabbit in the boiling water (be sure he wears the lid like a hat...)

No G.C., it's not that stupid stuff flies out; it's what we do with it after it's launched.

Welcome back, Rick! And, since we were talking time warps earlier, Bon Voyage! (I was traveling on business when you left.)

Great post about the formal attire. I love to see everyone gussied up, too. We'll be on a 12-night cruise in Europe this summer, and both DH and our son will be in tuxedos on formal nights. It adds a special touch to the cruise, IMO.

Thank you LisaP, it's great to be back--no, really!
It's nice to get away, but it's also nice to get home.

I'd love to hear more about your upcoming cruise; ship? itinerary?

Thank you, again.

Rick

So, I guess when stupid stuff flies out, everyone would be better off if they just ignore it....then I might get the hint to put a leash on myself! Or is it there are many more silly goofs out there like me than I thought?

Ignore you? Impossible! Put a leash on yourself? Don't you dare!

The rest of us silly goofs need someone to relate to.

Well, from one silly goof to another, thank you.

Oh yeah, welcome back. I know the feeling about enjoying the cruise, and other travel, but the time comes when home really feels good. Between March 29 and May 13, I was on the road, or on a ship, for 24 of those days. I gotta say, while the cruise and the two conferences where I spoke were tremendously enjoyable, rewarding, and relaxing (at least the cruise was relaxing), I am happy to be in familiar surroundings. I have traveled some with my job, but not extensively; the last 6 weeks have given me a greater sense of appreciation for those who have to travel frequently for work. I don't envy y'all intrepid travelers.

Silly goof, is there any other kind of goof? I thrive on what spills onto these boards so please don't put a lid on it or leash it. I know there are some who take this much too seriously.

..and we'll do it our way, yes our way, make all our dreams come true...
