Hi, I keep reading about someone being in a bd, or ba, or ah cabin. What does this mean and how can you tell which are best to book. I am booked in a BD cabin b334 on Baja deck on the CarribeanPrincess. What do all these mean? If I am asked to change to a BA cabin is this a good deal?

I think BA might be considered a little better than BD, but from looking at the Deck Plan on the Princess.com website, it looks to me like the only difference is that it's in the Caribe deck instead of the Baja. Take a look at the Princess.com Website, click on Deck plans, and you can compare the two locations! They look pretty much the same to me!
The letters just refer to the different classes of cabins. You can check them out on Princess.com also. GG, for instance, is an obstructed view so that would be one to avoid!

By and large, carolsue hit it right. If you look at the deck plans you will see that the balcony rooms are designated Bx. BA rooms are on a "more desirable" location on the ship or deck than BB which is "more desirable than" BC etc. In any event, you should find the rooms on a Princess boat all pretty good.
