My daughter will be 2 1/2 when we are on the cruise. Is it normal to take a small stroller? Or would that be a mistake? Also I noticed that the Golden Princess has a kids pool area. Does anyone have pictures of that area? or actually any pictures from that ship?

Thanks

cclaar,

You will find photos of most all of the ships on webshots.com You can enter the ship name you are interested in and many photos from the ship will be posted by past cruisers.

I entered Golden Princess pools and several were displayed. If you change the search, you may find exactly what you are looking for in the feature(s) or the ship you are interested in.

Happy cruising.

We are ver excited to be spending Christmas and New years on the ship. It will be a change in our normal holiday routine. Are the holiday cruises more family orientated? I would think that there would be more children on board due to Christmas Break. Is that true?

There will be more family reunions & kids which is why we cruise a few weeks before hand. You will also pay premium prices for the "privilege" of cruising during Christmas.

Hello Akers, and welcome to Cruise-Chat;

Penny has been on Emerald Princess and I'm sure will have some tips for that ship. But in general, first-time cruisers often seem a little apprehensive because they are doing something--well, for the first time. And they often worry themselves silly trying to figure everything out in advance.

Now of course it is good to know as much as you can before you go, but for heavens sake keep in mind that it is your vacation and you will have well over a thousand people onboard who's sole purpose it is to make sure you have a wonderful time. So take a deep breath and relax; the planning and anticipation are half the fun--REALLY!

And congratulation on your first cruise; you picked a magnificent ship.

Rick
