Question Getting ready for AmaWaterways
It looks like I will need an adapter and converter for the electrical items I want to bring. I guess this somewhat surprises me. Is this true? Any other advise that would be helpful send it my way...first River Cruise for me and I am just a Tad excited !!!

Wink Yes, need converters on MOST European ships
Hope you have a GREAT first time, remember these ships are much smaller than ocean ones. And rooms are SMALL,in comparison.Esp.the bathroom(need to go thru locks so must be certain width).
Entertainment is not lavish, but fun .Food is usually good,,not 5 star like ocean...so dont compare.Great for what they DO provide.Just DIFFERENT.
I love them,,such a great way to see the inland cities. So much better than bus tours and easy to manage(unlike private cars).
Any particular question, will be glad to help.I just got off AMAcerto in June and going on AMAlotus(Vietnam) in Dec.

Thank you, I know I will love this. I can't wait to hear about you Vietnam River Cruise. We also want to do this one and are not sure if we want to use Azamara or do a River Cruise. This trip will help me decide. Can you store your luggage under the bed? I am trying to save as much room as possible !
