A little off subject but just got off the phone with princess...they just lowered the fairs again, quite a bit this time so we got a nice refund. You might want to check Now I'll have enough to pay for those drinks...lol
Well Slyoldlady, I took your advice and received $500 of our cruise. Thanks for passing that along. Looking forward to getting to know all of you cruisers.
Hi All! We just got $300.00 off PLUS a $100 credit on the internet stuff. They also upgraded us 4 categories "so far" (as our agent put it). We are so excited and just can't wait!
Joining you on the 15 day segment. This is our 5th TA. Looking forward to sailing with you all.
We were planning on skipping a TA this year and going to Alaska. We were deciding which trip to book the next day when we opened the Princess past cruiser brochure with the big price drop. We booked immediately. Between that and the better exchange rates this is a great time for a cruise!
Congratulations to those who got $$ back.
Akitadog where in Ontario if I might ask. My dad was born in Ganenoqua and I still have a lot of family scattered around Canada.
Does anyone know about the shore excursions in any of the ports we will be visiting? Princess is really slow in setting them up for this cruise. I would like to know what they are and if they are worth the money. Or should I look for my own on the Internet.
Hi drmadison. We are in the GTA, just outside of Toronto.
We haven't booked any excursions yet but I know we are booking SOMETHING to get us into Paris at the very least. England is taken care of as my cousin is meeting us at the dock! DH is looking forward to something to do with Viking exhibits and beer somewhere along the way. I turn 52 in Holland so something good had better happen there! I know in the Carribbean the best way to see the place was to negotiate a price with a cabby and go along for the ride or hop one of the local buses and just tour. I don't know if that would be wise in Europe. any suggestions out there?
