I am sure we will be having a "meet and greet" at the Radisson the night before. We will firm up the plans ...the closer that it gets to the date!!
Sounds great! We had one last year for the Glory. It was alot of fun meeting people ahead of time, and we had a blast! We met at 5:30 if I recall, but a few people were still checking in. They knew it was us when they walked out because we were wearing mardi gras beads.

Well, Dwayne....looks like it is just you and me sailing on the Dream.

Guess we will have to rely on the staff and crew to listen to your duet.

Have you been practicing???

It sure looks like it so far.

I've been reading a book called "The art of avoiding people in awkward situations".

Have you heard any low down about the shows yet? I was hoping they would have the Kevin and Caruso magic show, as I've not had a chance to see it yet. I doubt they would though with it being a 9 day cruise.

Just a heads up....

if you are staying at the Radisson...you can call NOW to book your free shuttle.

They are currently filling the NOON slot.
(11 and 11:30 are full)...so if you have not done so, I would advise giving them a call!!

Taxi ride to the port is %15.00 to $20.00 depending on who you use!

Thanks so much for the heads up! Yep, staying at the Radisson. I've had my reservation for months now. Well, I'm not patient enough to wait on the noon shuttle I want to be on board by then. I guess I'll take a taxi over. Rumor has it (I'm sure you know) that there are going to be a lot of VIPs on this cruise. Should make for an interesting check in. I'm going to try to head over a little after 10AM, since there won't be debarking guests.

I am driving down overnight because I hate the traffic on 95. I hope they let me check in early at the Radisson like they did the last time. I got there a little after 6AM and they did without charging me an extra day.

I was thinking of emailing John about being on the blogger's list if I can find his email. Do you think I should just in case?

I went ahead and sent John an email, I have no idea if he'll reply. I requested a private reply (Thanks).

Are you going over to Jost Van Dyke on Tortola? I can't get settled on what to do there. The last time I just walked around the flea market place and had a drink at the marina bar.

Dwayne:

I read the sad news on the "dark side"....some people will do anything to get out of singing a duet!!!

We will miss you on our cruise......

perhaps one day in the future we will cruise together.

I swear Linda, this has about killed me. After going back and forth all Saturday evening and Sunday, I finally came to the sad conclusion I had to do take the work opportunity from a personal financial standpoint. I've been so bummed about this, I just booked a 5 day on the Fascination for Halloween to cheer myself up a little. I hope we get to cruise together in the near future. Jim will be an excellent representative at karaoke.

Dwayne.. while I am truly saddened by your having to cancel the Dream cruise.... I must say I don't appreciate being thrown under the karaoke bus like that
