nice

hi everyone.can anyone tell me is nice easy to get to from the port,can i walk into nice or is it too far.how long would it take on foot as i dont want to go everywhere on transport .i would love to just be able to wander round some places at my own pace.but at the same time dont want to walk a marithon thanks juls

Do ships actually port at Nice? I've been there twice but once we ported at Cannes and the other time at Monte Carlo. Hopefully, somebody will know for sure.

I don't know when Tom Ogg wrote this port review but it has some good info that probably hasn't changed much.

That's what I thought; I've never seen any large ships right at Nice. Hopefully juls is on a small ship; although a 3 mile walk should be easy enough--we do that every morning around the Promenade Deck :-)

you boys are great .thanks for all the great advice.didnt read the itenerary properly nice is a tendered port.i will have to get the walking shoes on and walk off those extra few pounds.cant wait to get going i`m cruising on navigator of the seas.theres a first time for everything and this is it.hoping to have a great time.if i can think of anything else i will ask you thankyou very much juls
