The picture of cabin 8410 was on the Liberty of the Seas. It was an E-1 category. We had our cabin changed to a D-2 on that same deck, but on the port side. We were lucky because the ship was full, apparently some one didn't make it to the ship in time. I never stayed in cabin 7408 so I can't offer any info. I do know that the D-1 category on deck 10 has a bigger corner cabin. It's about 5 feet wider that a regular D-1 cabin. My suggestion is to book a bump out cabin.

Hi Sonny its been a long time since we talked...nice to see you're still hooked on cruising!

Sonny...thanks for all your help in trying to select a cabin, unfortunately flights were not avail for the Independence so we decided on a 9A cat. (the corner wrap around) on the Carnival Destiny. Not too familiar with the ship but we go to the Turks and I am on a cruise with a great balcony, doesn't get much better than that I would think.
