Does anyone know if the bottom part of the railing of the balcony on deck 6 Explorer of the Seas made of metal? Can passengers see the water while sitting on the balcony? Please help

Hello buzz766, welcome to Cruise-Chat!

Yes, the bottom part of the balcony railing was changed to Plexiglas on the Navigator and the Mariner. Yes, you can still see the water while siting in your chair.

Here is a picture of a balcony we had on the Explorer:

Hope this helps,

What about the Adventure? I'm pretty sure it is all metal, but I would love to be wrong about that.

Man SonnyV,
Seems like you have a picture to all occasions. Nice to have someone with your grand source of resources.

I usually take about 200 pictures when I go on a cruise. I'm glad I can use them to help once in a while. "One picture is worth a thousand words"—Fred Barnard.

I love seeing all the pictures. I really liked the one with Sonny & friends on the Flow Rider, that was really cute. Keep the pictures coming.
