Voyager Promenade rooms OK?

We just "upgraded" to two Promenade View staterooms on deck 6...Was that the right thing to do? Are we going to be sorry for the amount of noise/lack of privacy? This seemed like the right thing to do since we were absolutely at the aft end on deck 8.

Most definitely a good choice. Surprisingly, noise is not an issue in the Atrium rooms - A portion of the window opens if you wish to hear the sounds of the promenade, but it is relatively quiet when closed. As for privacy, again -that is your choice - If you wish total privacy - keep the drapes closed. Even when open, however, as the Promenade is below you - people can see very little of you or your cabin (unless you are standing right against the window and they are looking up). I thought they were an awesome alternative to the standard inside cabin - Enjoy!
