I have the same issue,my sail pass info is all set to print waiting on my daughters girlfriends passport. She did her passport Jan 16th, after 7 weeks her mom looked into whats going on, after she looked in the site her name was not found, after 2 days on the phone trying to get through to the passport agency to find out why her name was not in the register, they told her mother the last name is wrong and so is her b-date! They are "fixing" the info. She is still a minor so we can use a her birth certificate ya know the one we sent with the passport! so if we don't receive the passport by the 16th we need to send for a birth certificate asap!
So in answering your guestion I don't know sorry! Hopefully someone will know
I'm a little nervous my self!

Regarding the receipt of a birth certificate...whatever county in which the young lady was born, I'd suggest that mom or dad haul their backside down to the county's vital statistics department and request a new certified copy of her birth certificate....like yesterday. Don't count on the original birth certificate being returned in a timely manner. By mail, in California, you're talikng about 5 weeks for a certified copy by mail.

The cutoff for setsail is 24 hours before you sail. Hope that helps.

Some passports are taking up to 10 weeks now due to everyone trying to get them with the new requirements. Don't worry, if you don't meet the cut off just fill out the paper work in the cruise booklet. I'm not sure if the cut off is two weeks prior to the cruise.
