Navigator Vs Radiance

Our family (including 15 & 16 yr olds) is looking at the Western Caribbean on the Navigator or Radiance March 06. We like the Navigator because of it's size and the ice rink. The Radiance is scoring because the rates are cheaper. I know they are both nice ships but anyone out there have preferences. Also, any advice on starboard vs port, placement of staterooms, etc.

Welcome to cruise-chat. Based on the fact that you will be traveling with a 15 & 16 yr. old - there is no question that the Navigator would be a better fit. While the Radiance is absolutely beautiful (and would be my choice if you were traveling without children), the Navigator offers much more for the teen set. As for placement of stateroom - are you considering inside, oceanview, balcony or suite? That would make a difference as to what I might recommend.

I cast my vote for the Navigator too! Great for teens and young people my age.

Navigator it is! Thanks for the replies. We are looking at a Balcony for hubby and I and and interior for the kids.
