I am going on a short cruise next weekend, and also considering booking a more expensive cruise for this summer. I seem to recall that RC offered some incentives for any future cruises booked while on board a cruise. Can anyone share what types of incentives they might be offering, as I am wondering if they are any better than what I can get thru AAA or Costco today ?

It all depends. The more cruises you have under your belt the better the incentives. On our last cruise we booked onboard and received $200 onboard credit for booking onboard. Plus I got $200 off for being a Platinum member and booking a balcony or above. And then in the C & A magazine their was a coupon for $200 off for the cruise I am taking.
Every cruise agency will give you different perks to get your attention. My TA tells me to book through RCCL to save $20 booking fee.
Other TA's or CS may give you a wine and dine package. It depends on how badly they want your business.
