You will be able to pick up luggage tags at the pier. There is a station set-up for luggage tag pier pick-up and most of the porters will also have a supply on hand. A tip is to bring your own sharpie to fill them out so the name and cabin # are easily visible.

Our first experience with showing up at the pier without luggage tags happened last month. Faster than I could say "we don't have tags" the porter whipped out some tags and attached them to our bags. He then asked to see my SeaPass and he put my name and cabin number on the tags. I pulled out a pen and helped. Just like that...it was over in a minute and we were on our way to the check-in. This is not something I will ever again worry about.

Oh, and we got all of our baggage delivered before the emergency drill happened.

It would be nice if RCI would have some downloadable tags on their website. With a color pinter, they could be a good temporary tag until you reach the port. Heck, printed on photograph paper and sealed with clear scotch tape they could almost go the distance.
