My husband and I are taking our first RCL cruise in March on this ship. I don't see many posts on this site regarding this ship. Is that a good or bad thing? We are booked in a Junior Suite on 8 and travelling to the Western Caribbean. Any input or comments about this ship and/or itinerary would be great. Thanks.

Hi Francesca,
Interesting you should be inquiring about the Splendour. I will be taking a cruise on her Feb 12 and plan to write a mega-review for CruiseReviews. Although I am booked in an ocean view stateroom, traveling companions are booked in a junior suite on deck 8 (8576). It should be posted before you leave so it will provide you with the latest information on the ship, as well as the ports you will be visiting The Splendour is one of RC's Vision Class ships, all of them stunning. The Vision Class ships were the first of RC's "new breed". I have sailed on her sister ships, Vision, Enchantment, Grandeur and Rhapsody and all were wonderful! Do you have any special excursions you are interested in at any of the ports?
Nancy

I have booked one excursion already...the Mexican cooking demonstration in Cozumel. I haven't found any outside info on this, but I love to cook and thought this might be a great experience. Looking forward to your review.
