Medication question

A friend that is coming along on the cruise with us is a diabetic. I can't remember if the refrigerators in the cabins had room for insulin, or any medications that need to be kept in there. Has anyone traveled that had to keep medication refrigerated or traveled with someone who has? And if so, did they have any problems?

Insulin doesn't take much space.

I couldn't remember if the refrigerators were already stocked with items that you had to pay for. If so, if they take them out to make room would they be charged for them?

My wife has to have medication that is refrigerated and it worked fine on our cruise. They do not stock the fridge with much at all so there was plenty of room.

My husband is diabetic, and since we didn't plan on using anything in the fridge anyway, we asked our room steward to empty it for us.

Remember not all rooms have a fridge, so make sure to let the line know ahead of time that you need one!

Oh, okay, they have an aft balcony room, I hope it does have a fridge, but I'll check into that.
