hurricanes miami

Hi i will be in Miami in early september then taking a cruise of out miami to western caribbean...is a hurrican predicted?? oh that will be soooo awful..how do i find out if a hurricane is predicted for that time/area??? thanks

While September is considered hurricane season, there is no way to know if one is predicted until a week or so from your departure date. There are several web sites that track world wide weather and you can see exactly what is going on. I wouldn't worry about it, however, as the ship will not intentionally expose the passengers to any danger and will do everything within their power to avoid any impact from a storm.

Looks like you will be like us and on a first name basis with the hurricanes this year! We like to travel in Oct and that too is part of hurricane season, it just fits into our work schedules and my birthday is durning that time and he likes to do something special for that, so we are always watching the weather, Last year when it was so bad it was an exception we sailed in Feb. But I did track all the storms and for the most part only a few ships had an altered schedule.Cruise lines do everything in there power to make us safe.
