Chris-In 1999 my girlfriends son got married aboard the Grandeur of the Seas in the Port of Miami. The Captain did not have the legal authority to marry them at sea-so the cruise line arranged for a Fl. Justice of the Peace to marry them while in port and prior to sailing. Wedding party and guests were allowed early boarding. Non sailing guests debarked early after a small reception. It was well managed by the cruise line and a fun cruise for those of us who accompanied the newlyweds on the voyage!
