hello everyone...our family has booked 2 interior cabins on deck 7 at the rear of the ship..are these o.k. locations as far as ship movement and noise level are concerned..this is only our second cruise ..the first was about 4 years ago on the zenith..we would appreciate any info...thanks
We're going on the Explorer 7/14 too! Myself, husb and 2 teens - girl 19 and boy 16.
You should be fine. You have cabins above and below you, so the noise level should not be a problem. We were all the way aft on the last cruise and the movement was the same as on any other area of the ship.
If you are in rough seas the center of the ship is the best place to be. If the seas are calm it doesn't matter. We usually book an aft cabin because the balconies are bigger. The bump out is our second choice. Other then sleeping, you're not in your cabin too much. I would suggest packing a nite-lite and a clock with a light with an inside cabin.
