I have bboked and paid in full a cruise on the Enchantment leaving in April. I saw today the rates went down by a couple hundred bucks. I called RCI and they said I had to go thru my TA since I booked with a TA. I called my TA and she said she would try but RCI usually doesn't do anything for the customer who has already paid. What has been you guys expierence with this?

On our Freedom of the Seas cruise last june, I booked directly with them. Our price dropped $700, for our cabin. I called them, and very politely asked for a credit card refund, or even a shipboard credit. I got an immediate credit card refund, and they were very pleasant. The summer before that, I booked an Alaska cruise via a TA at AAA. I realized the price dropped before our TA did. I called her, she confirmed it, she asked for a refund on my behalf. I got a check sent to me from Princess for the price difference. Good luck. Lil' Lori
How do you go about finding out if the cruise has dropped in price or not? We booked through a TA, and I'm sure they won't volunteer info, if the price drops.
When you say the price dropped, you're saying the cruise by itself, or cruise/port charges, taxes, etc. price? How do you figured that out to know if it has dropped or not?
I received a 1,100 credit to my account when I called my Travel Agent and told them I saw the AOS cruise we booked prices dropped online. I saw this on RCI's website. I heard from other people on other forums that this occured, and I decided to check it out for myself. I am so happy I did! Now we don't have to come up with extra money for excursions. We have it with the credit we received. I recommend to anyone cruising, check back on the cruise line to see if prices dropped down to get their credit. BTW, we booked a AOS cruise for Spring Break and paid in full through Priceline, plus got 2 free ipod shuffles for booking with them.
Kevin, your travel agent isn't being truthful. Royal Caribbean has always accommodated customers on price ajustments. Your travel agent will get your credit if she calls them.
For my Princess refund, I called them and asked for a refund. They said since I booked via a TA, the TA had to call and request the refund, and they would issue it through her. I got my check from Princess, after my TA called and asked them for the refund. Good luck. Lil' Lori
We had a rate drop on our last cruise and our TA called and informed us. The refund paid for our airfare. It was great. I think you might have to push your TA.
hi guys, we sail in 9 days. last week i was on the rccl website and saw the rates went down. called my TA and there is a 350 pp credit on my credit card.

Thanks everyone for your responses.
Kevin, what was the cost reduction per person? You should get a full credit. I'd be a little suspicious if your T.A. is only giving you part of the credit back.
