excursions on the freedom

just looking at the excursion list for the freedom in jamaica, and was curious which trip actually climbes dunns river falls? we just want to climb the falls and not do the shopping, sight seeing, so we want to take a taxi to the falls, how much do you think it would cost?

also on the ship, do you need to wear sneakers for the rock climbing or can you wear the water shoes that you would wear for climbing the falls, as they both have rubber bottoms?

going off past experience they supply you with rubber water shoes at dunns river falls. as for the rock climbing wall just wear sneakers you carnt go wrong

The water shoes available at the falls are for rent and I think they were about $15 a pair. Better to get water shoes at a discount store and drag them with, or my daughter wore old shoes and threw them out after.

We did an excursion which a boat took us to the falls. So we got a nice boat ride & was able to see the falls. On the way back they gave us a drink & played some fun Jamaican music. I will purchase the shoes for the falls since the ones I rented smelled very very bad.

For the rock climbing wall the ship provides you will the shoes.
